Blimey. I feel like I’ve spent the past week sleepwalking through the film, La Citee Des Enfants Perdus . . . Everything is somewhat off-colour, there is this constant feeling of a mission needing accomplishment, and if I keep eating these madeleines, I will wind up being the size of Ron Perlman.
Today has been hecka busy, and it feels rather like I am on the road to something new. I hope so . . .
AT ANY RATE, I am now at Job Number Two, having come back from a few errands as well as my job interview. And may I radiate some rhetoric when I say . . . HOW MUCH DO I BLOODY WANT THIS VET TECH JOB?! The place looks wonderful and it would give me a lot of experience that I’ve been wanting (assisting with surgery and the like), plus the benefits are fantastic. Please, please, pleeeeease? ::clasps hands at chest level and turns imploring gaze unto the firmament::
::firmament is quite grey and resplendant with the promise of bum-fugly weather::
Co-worker El is coming round tonight to stay at my place, since I live beautifully close to work and there is supposed to be all sorts of weatherly nasty business tonight. Funtimes, yo!
. . . Boss Number Two has a big collection of Mozart, which she has been kind enough to leave on loop in the stereo . . . ::snif:: Life is glorious.
