Yay! The first page is finally up. Not sure if you can tell, but I’m going to really try to keep my colouring and line art a bum tonne more consistent than it was in First Crescent . . . I’d developed a different system of colouring than my norm in the hopes of pumping out pages faster and keeping the colours more consistent. DID YOU SEE HOW WELL THAT WORKED? GANGBUSTERS COMMENT HERE, OH HO HO. But yer, I’ve decided to go back to my usual manner of colouring things, so here’s hoping there will be more coherency and less . . . er, acid trip than in previous pages. Och-whoo.
Oh yes! And I did forget to mention a blog in the last update, for I am a tool. Thanka for linking me, Josh! Tis much obliged ^_^

. . . God bless my goggly eyes, this week-end has been INSANE and frantastic. I had planned to see my K., and this WAS GOING TO HAPPEN come hellwater high, low or otherwise . . . A somewhat relevant comparison, really as three natural disasters were in the cards for this week, alone . . . Through torrential rain, hurricane-strength wind, an earthquake and the threat of tornadoes (not in that order), we traveled by metro and foot. There was taking shelter for hours at a time, Thai food and cold grilled cheese, running through a near-biblical storm, painting in bed, Patton Oswalt, “the bet is wed”, horrifying abuse of accents, kisses in the rickety shelter of a bus stop, attempting to navigate the brambly woods and so, SO MUCH love . . . Earnestly and sincerely, I love this girl so damn much, I can’t even begin to verbalise it. K., thank you for a bloody beautiful week-end and I’m going to miss your beautiful self something royal.
(Thanks also, again, to Sully for putting me up for the night so that I did not get my arse rained on and/or blown away!)
When I returned home, my power was out and I had no hot water, so I am staying with the parents for noo. There was delicious curry and chard for dinner. How long has it been since I have eaten something with more than two colours in it? Too long, say I. Cheers, parents ^_^
